More Challenging Than Sudoku

How do you keep your brain sharp? A lot of people do crosswords. A few years ago, I started to do Sudoku. A friend of mind recently introduced me to a new kind of puzzle—The MEJJI Puzzle. I have found it really challenging and fun. The MEJJI Puzzle, at least in my experience, is actually more challenging and better than most puzzles I’ve gotten addicted to in the past!

The MEJJI Puzzle comes in three different “flavors”—numbers 1 through 4, music notation, and my favorite, French playing card suits—hearts, clubs, diamonds, and spades. It is better and more challenging than Sudoku since it uses different symbols to make you think more. The basic idea is to fill in an 8 x 8 grid, ensuring that each symbol appears only twice in each column, row, and diagonal. Are you ready for a new challenge?
